Rob, I'm retiring on 15 May, and just ended my Litesabre subscription. I haven't flown since November (medical thing) so I haven't had a lot of use for it lately, but I still find myself looking at it daily just to see how things are going. My last payment went today, before I got the payment shutdown so I'll be paying for a month into retirement... but that's ok because your product was so valuable to me over the years. It was always incredible to me the way you kept Litesabre fresh, updated and innovative, and adapted to changes at the company. Your response time to emails reporting bugs or suggesting changes was always remarkable - maybe you have a bunch of secretaries to help out, I don't know... if so, it was money well spent. And all this while an active pilot at AA. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for all the ways it helped me out through the years, and I think you deserve everything you've gotten out of it. Keep it going... lots of guys depend on it!

Rob, I have to drop you a note to say thank you for work on Lite Sabre. I have been holding turns since last August, but JUN and JUL have been a surprise of very few turns in my award. Thanks to all the tools especially the motivator, I was able to salvage JUN to all turns and almost done with JUL. Thanks again

LiteSabre Motivator

Trying to drop a trip but no one will take it? Maybe they just need a little financial motivation. Here you can post a trip in Motivator and offer your fellow pilots a financial incentive to pick up your trip.

Hassle Free

LiteSabre does all the work of advertising the trip to the appropriate pilots, testing and executing the trade, and bringing the two pilots together so they can make separate payment arrangements.

Pilots helping pilots

If you're considering picking up time, consider a Motivator trip before any other posted trip. You'll not only earn more money, but you'll be helping out a pilot in need.

Requirements

All you need to pick up a motivator trip is:

  • A valid DECS password in the LiteSabre system.

You are not signed in.

Rules and Regulations

  • All LiteSabre members are eligible to drop and pick up trips using Motivator, including those with 'Courtesy' subscriptions.

  • Droppers are required to make payment arrangements as soon as possible after a successful drop. LiteSabre will not be held responsible for pilots who fail to make the Motivator payment to the pilot picking up their trip.
  • If you pick up a trip THROUGH THIS SYSTEM, and the pilot dropping to you fails to pay, you must address it with that pilot directly. LiteSabre is merely a facilitator, not a guarantor of payment.
  • An active Paypal account is required to participate in Motivator direct payment. Pilots without Paypal accounts should make alternate payment arrangements.

  • Once accepting a pickup through the Motivator system, the pilot picking up will have the trip added to his/her AA schedule when the dropping pilot initiates the transaction. There is no provision to undo the trade, and that pilot is now responsible for flying that trip.
