Hey Rob. Thanks much. I’m serious when I say that you have an incredibly handy app. It has helped in more ways than you might think. I know there was and still is a tremendous amount of effort on your part in making it work. Making AA life easier is certainly apropos. I don’t know how many guys use it but if they tried it, they wouldn’t do without it. Thanks again!

Glen, ORD

Hi Rob, I used the dead head with the NEW seat improvement feature when Going back and forth to school this weekend. It worked as advertised. I got a better seat going. It aborted the search on my way home due To my parameters. Still love the LITESABRE APP. Lotta bang for the buck. Thanks

For a little over 3 years now, I have gladly paid the $21.00 a month to have LiteSabre. You may have noticed that I stopped my paid account recently…. Maybe not…. Either way, it’s that time in my A/A career to say goodbye and to thank you for the service you provided me for years. I remember before everything got so hard that you and your service hooked me up with a couple of trips that were literally worth thou$and$ of dollars. It was then and there that I decided that I would be a subscriber until I retired and other than the 3 years I was out with a knee problem, I was true to my word. Your service is THE BEST Rob and I will always advise people at A/A to subscribe. My Best Wishes Go with you always,

Brian, PHL

Hello - As a new hire, LiteSabre was one of the first tools recommended to me for being truly prepared on the line. I saw it in the crew room, I saw it on my observation flights, and I see it working firsthand before even finishing OE - it has already guided me through cancellations and deadheads and reschedules and aircraft swaps and I’m only on my second trip!! Admittedly, there is a steep learning curve, especially with the meaning of each system code or the proper use & intention of the trading and bidding systems. But that will all come with time I’m sure. Thank you for your commitment to the pilot group and all of your hard work.

The more tools I discover on litesaber the more I love it. Even being senior in the seat I find this awesome. Just had to say thanks again for coming up with such a slick tool for us!

LiteSabre Motivator

Trying to drop a trip but no one will take it? Maybe they just need a little financial motivation. Here you can post a trip in Motivator and offer your fellow pilots a financial incentive to pick up your trip.

Hassle Free

LiteSabre does all the work of advertising the trip to the appropriate pilots, testing and executing the trade, and bringing the two pilots together so they can make separate payment arrangements.

Pilots helping pilots

If you're considering picking up time, consider a Motivator trip before any other posted trip. You'll not only earn more money, but you'll be helping out a pilot in need.

Requirements

All you need to pick up a motivator trip is:

  • A valid DECS password in the LiteSabre system.

You are not signed in.

Rules and Regulations

  • All LiteSabre members are eligible to drop and pick up trips using Motivator, including those with 'Courtesy' subscriptions.

  • Droppers are required to make payment arrangements as soon as possible after a successful drop. LiteSabre will not be held responsible for pilots who fail to make the Motivator payment to the pilot picking up their trip.
  • If you pick up a trip THROUGH THIS SYSTEM, and the pilot dropping to you fails to pay, you must address it with that pilot directly. LiteSabre is merely a facilitator, not a guarantor of payment.
  • An active Paypal account is required to participate in Motivator direct payment. Pilots without Paypal accounts should make alternate payment arrangements.

  • Once accepting a pickup through the Motivator system, the pilot picking up will have the trip added to his/her AA schedule when the dropping pilot initiates the transaction. There is no provision to undo the trade, and that pilot is now responsible for flying that trip.
