Testimonials

Bryan, ORD

Rob, The best friend I never met! It is with great thanks and some hesitation that I have suspended my full subscription due to RETIREMENT! I also want to offer my sincere gratitude for the amazing service you offer through LiteSabre. There is no reason for any AA pilot not to subscribe to your incredible service. Thanks again for making life easier.

Marc, LAX

Dear LiteSabre folks, I have retired effective October. Since I do not expect any more calls from crew scheduling, I will no longer be needing your service. I am requesting my subscription be cancelled. The LiteSabre service is, in my opinion, essential for every pilot at American Airlines. I have derived a tremendous benefit from your application. I am sure our fellow pilots feel the same. Have you considered getting a contract from American to provide this service to all AA pilots at the company's expense? Thank you for all your assistance and good luck in the future. Regards, Marc.

Jeff, UDC

I’d like to propose an update to your motto: It’s more than just “making life easier.” In many cases, this one among them, it’s “making the impossible possible.”

Mel, LGA

Hey Rob, I retired end of November and totally forgot to let you know. Your program has been a God send to my 35 year career with AA. Wish it would have been developed from the first day I stepped on property. I hope all the new hires and current pilots at AA can see what most of us have seen and take for granted. The ease or improvement of the job because of your personal innovation. Thank you.

John, RET

I remember some of what you went through to keep Litesabre relevant and the innovation that came out of those efforts. My son has been with Delta for a year now, and was awarded an extremely bad schedule for next month through PBS. As we talked about how to improve it, I saw how difficult and time-consuming it was compared to using Litesabre, and just wanted let you know again how much I appreciated your work. I hope all those AA guys realize how easy they have it using Litesabre. Thanks!

LiteSabre Motivator

Trying to drop a trip but no one will take it? Maybe they just need a little financial motivation. Here you can post a trip in Motivator and offer your fellow pilots a financial incentive to pick up your trip.

Hassle Free

LiteSabre does all the work of advertising the trip to the appropriate pilots, testing and executing the trade, and bringing the two pilots together so they can make separate payment arrangements.

Pilots helping pilots

If you're considering picking up time, consider a Motivator trip before any other posted trip. You'll not only earn more money, but you'll be helping out a pilot in need.

Requirements

All you need to pick up a motivator trip is:

  • A valid DECS password in the LiteSabre system.

You are not signed in.

Rules and Regulations

  • All LiteSabre members are eligible to drop and pick up trips using Motivator, including those with 'Courtesy' subscriptions.

  • Droppers are required to make payment arrangements as soon as possible after a successful drop. LiteSabre will not be held responsible for pilots who fail to make the Motivator payment to the pilot picking up their trip.
  • If you pick up a trip THROUGH THIS SYSTEM, and the pilot dropping to you fails to pay, you must address it with that pilot directly. LiteSabre is merely a facilitator, not a guarantor of payment.
  • An active Paypal account is required to participate in Motivator direct payment. Pilots without Paypal accounts should make alternate payment arrangements.

  • Once accepting a pickup through the Motivator system, the pilot picking up will have the trip added to his/her AA schedule when the dropping pilot initiates the transaction. There is no provision to undo the trade, and that pilot is now responsible for flying that trip.
