LiteSabre announces an all new, native Android/iPhone/iPad application that will handle all your LiteSabre notification needs.

No more missed messages. Gone are the days of lost or delayed text messages, liteSabre emails getting caught in the spam folder, or worse, never being delivered.

Messenger uses native phone push notification technology to alert you of a new liteSabre message. Just install the app on your phone and ensure that push notifications are enabled. It's simple..!!

LiteSabre Messenger displays the following messages:

  • Newly Open/Posted trips
  • Successful/Failed automatic trip trades
  • Any schedule changes
  • RAP assignments
  • Deadhead legs - with seat change options
  • Google Sync confirmations
  • Auto Drop confirmations
  • Departure time changes.

  1. Send yourself an email and text with the download link HERE, and access the message from your Android device.
  2. Tap the link in the message. Once downloaded, you will see a message that says
    File might be harmful
    You just have to trust me on this one. Tap Download Anyway
  3. On your Android device, once downloaded, tap Open. If you see a message that says... For security, your phone currently isn't allowed to install unknown apps...
    Tap 'Settings'in the dialog and 'Allow from this source'
  4. IMPORTANT!! Once installed, You must go to the phone Settings and turn on notifications for Messenger.
  5. At some point, I hope to update the app in the Play Store, but I don't have a timeline for this yet.

All New!! Messenger is now available in a web version. You can now get notifications on your laptop or desktop browser.

NOTE: Desktop Notifications work in most browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera and Brave. They do not work in Safari. Also, do not use this web version on a phone or ipad. The notifications will not work. Use the above links to install the Messenger App on those devices.

An alternate notification sound for iOS Messenger app is available. Sign in to view or change it.

Android

Note: Android users already have an alternate notification sound option built into the app. Just click the Settings link at the top of the app.

Messages getting delayed on Android?

If you find that your Android notifications are delayed, or you get many alerts right when you unlock the phone, then read this important blog post.

The following applies to all devices.

There is a small checkmark in the app. It should be green. if not, restart the device.
