Hey Rob, I retired end of November and totally forgot to let you know. Your program has been a God send to my 35 year career with AA. Wish it would have been developed from the first day I stepped on property. I hope all the new hires and current pilots at AA can see what most of us have seen and take for granted. I remember some of what you went through to keep Litesabre relevant and the innovation that came out of those efforts. My son has been with Delta for a year now, and was awarded an extremely bad schedule for next month through PBS. As we talked about how to improve it, I saw how difficult and time-consuming it was compared to using Litesabre, and just wanted let you know again how much I appreciated your work. I hope all those AA guys realize how easy they have it using Litesabre. Thanks!

I've been using LiteSabre from the beginning and would like to add my wholehearted recommendation, too. One feature that hasn't been mentioned here which I really like is the ability to build HISEP entries off-line, re-order them as necessary and then upload them to DECS. Deciding to insert an additional entry is no problem now!

Rob just keeps adding features, so the whole concept is a continually evolving one with a lot of nice touches. For example, the phone app has hot-linked phone numbers for dispatch and the layover hotel - a neat, simple time-saver. And the calendar sync through Google calendar is fantastic!

One last point -- when I have dropped Rob a line pointing out a bug or suggesting an improvement, he responds quickly and gets right on it. Fantastic!

The other day as they were working on our plane and blowing through our departure time, I got a text from Delay Minder of the revised departure time before ramp or the agent seemed to know it.


LiteSabre 'Auto Drop'

Available Now!

LiteSabre's Auto Drop feature makes dropping a RED trip easy. Just choose the sequence you want to drop here, and LiteSabre will automatically monitor it 24/7. When the trip turns GREEN, LiteSabre will drop it for whichever drop choice you choose, and send you a message. You can also access these preferences from the mobile My Trip app. Just go to Options-> More-> AutoDrop.

You can also be confident that LiteSabre is actually monitoring your trips by inspecting the 'Auto Drop Logs' here. If you have a drop or notify request set, you will see just how many times per day LiteSabre checked the status of the trip.

Requirements

In order to set an Auto Drop request your email address must be verified by LiteSabre. To verify it, go to My Settings and click the button next to your email address.
